Parker Collins is an established mental health clinic offering clinical services by a dynamic team of professional and student therapists. We have clinics in Vadnais Heights and Maple Grove. Parker Collins has an opening for a Mental Health Professional in Maple Grove as well as for those who are seeking virtual only caseload. Ideal candidate is someone skilled in working with kids, families, and complex trauma, however we honor preferences for Clinicians to build their caseload with their preferred caseload of clients. Candidates working towards LP, LMFT or LPCC license will be eligible for free supervision towards licensure. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to participation in weekly professional growth consults, monthly team meetings and trainings. Due to our specialty in working with complex trauma and dissociative clients, we highly recommend for all our Clinicians to be trained in AIR Network model. This can be done after being hired.
Preferred Experience:
Parker Collins offers a range of opportunities for therapists to practice with their advanced training. The following experience areas are preferred.
- Family systems theory and interventions used to address systemic changes in families such as Bowen, Structural family therapy model, Gottman, EFT, etc
- Experiences and skill with treating school age children and adolescents
- Trauma-informed training such as EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, or AIR Network model
- Multicultural respect, understanding of privileges, and social justice approach to services
- Collaborative and team relationship orientation
